The Slytherin Locket is the most recognisable Horcrux…but how do the three versions compare?

I’ll first showcase the Noble Collection Slytherin Locket, then the Locket from the Cave, the sticker book locket and then in a moment, I’m going to show you how they all compare together…

So the Noble Collection Slytherin Locket and the Locket from the Cave, comes with this cool display that has a mirror at the back and Harry Potter etched into it…

Basically there are two hooks and then depending on how precise you want to be, which you put through two of the hoops, the rest the chain is tucked away behind the mirror, when the lid is on…

Focusing on the Horcrux locket, I think the detail is superb…

It has the beautiful gemstones to form the S of the Slytherin, the cover of the design has this interesting iridescence, the back has all this extra writing around, which is very intriguing…

I would say the clasp does feel like metal, similar to that of the chain

The inside is lined with a lovely green velvet, even though when we see inside in the film, is Voldemort’s eye and it’s like all glassy

Moving to the Locket from the Cave, it’s pretty similar to the horcrux locket, but immediately you see that it doesn’t have the gemstones forming the S of Slytherin…

It still has that iridescence that we see on the front and the extra writing on the back, like in the Horcrux version…

The clasp does also feel like metal, so similar to the chain…

The inside is also lined with green, but this time…the locket does contain something, which is the note from RAB…

Folded in a cool way, this is the replica of the note that Hermione reads at the end of Half-Blood Prince…

Finally the sticker book locket, now I’ve actually put the sticker book away…

It does have a similar design and the iridescence present in the other lockets, but I’m sure you’ll notice there’s a different Slytherin logo in this one

The clasp is not metal like, but I would say, clearly plastic – but of course this is a cheaper product

The inside of the locket is not lined and doesn’t contain anything inside…

So comparing them all together, you can clearly see the difference of all of them…

The Noble Collection items have a higher craftsmanship…

The Horcrux locket is much prettier, because it has those green gemstones…

The Locket from the Cave is pretty much identical, except probably a little murkier and missing the S from Slytherin (it also comes with that RAB note too)…

You can see that the sticker book locket isn’t as high quality as the Noble Collection lockets, but I still think it’s pretty good…

It is the same size and pretty much, has the same design, but it’s probably closer to the Locket from the Cave, because it doesn’t have the S with the gemstones…

So those were the three versions of the Slytherin Locket – let me know in the comment section below, which would you go for?

The Horcrux Locket is great because obviously, it is the actual Horcrux locket and sits nicely behind me, on my shelf, with all my other Horcruxes…

The Locket from the Cave is cool because it is very similar and comes with that cool origami style RAB note…

Finally the sticker book locket, it’s a cool version, for those wanting a cheaper alternative…

So as you can see I actually went with all of them, because I was keen to see how they all compared…

I hope you have enjoyed seeing these three versions of the Slytherin Locket and it’s helped you decide which one to get
