The Harry Potter fan club recently launched some pretty cool badges, so let’s take a closer look…

so the first one is this Sorting Hat locket enamel pin and it’s pretty amazing – it’s quite a large pin badge

and it has a magnetic fasten…

the inside as you can see, it currently has Slytherin

but you can change it to your house, so there is Gryffindor, there is Ravenclaw and there is Hufflepuff as well

each of the badges also come with an enchanted key on the back which you can scan with your wizarding world app

so the next exclusive badge that launched is this Nearly Headless Nick enamel pin

with quite a different backing board to the others – they’re all in black so far but this is in white and red

it even has glow-in-the-dark writing on the back and the pin badge itself glows in the dark

and it does move too with his head that rocks back and forth to be the “nearly headless” Nick…

I’m sure you can guess when this next exclusive badge was launched by the mere moment I show you

of course it is Halloween in the Great Hall enamel pin… a beautiful little badge – I love the colours

the blue, the purples, the orange little pumpkins floating even the little floating candles are cute

it does have the enchanted key that you can scan the back as well

this is another one that’s sold out so quickly…

yeah all I can do is showcase it for you to see because unfortunately it’s not available anymore

the final badges were only recently launched because they are Christmas themed badges

and the first one is the main one, which is Christmas at Hogwarts

a beautiful glitter enamel pin, it is marvellous

I think this is a fabulous pin badge and it even has the writing on the on the outside

where it says…

“muddy grounds were revealed one morning covered in glittering frost”

“inside the castle, there was a buzzing of Christmas in the air”

what a beautiful quote from the books

again with the enchanted key on the back, but such a lovely badge

the second Christmas badge that was launched, is this glitter Hedwig

and it actually has like rose gold on the outside

the Hedwig itself is glittered and has a little gem, where the wax seal would be so this is quite a little fancy badge indeed

but such a cute little one and very different to the others…I’ve not seen rose gold before and this of course is a glitter one

now very similar to the one that comes in the Hogwarts Pets

but as you remember that Hogwarts Pets is only available to people that subscribe to the second year of the Harry Potter fan club – Gold

comparing the two Hedwigs – the badges are identical

apart from the rose gold, the glitter and the red gemstone

So these exclusive badges had a launch and pretty much sold out immediately

so of these exclusive badges, the ones that are still available is the Christmas at Hogwarts and the Glitter Hedwig

but not even I was quick enough to get these badges. These are actually all on loan from my good friend Kat

so thank you very much for loaning them to me so I can showcase them to all of you

and some of the treats that are in store if you are a member of the Harry Potter fan club

there are two memberships, there is a free membership which is the silver members

and you get notifications and quizzes and so forth on there

but the benefit of signing up to the paid membership, which is the gold

is you get 24 hour early access to these pins, when they are launched

and then once they that 24 hours is done, it moves to general release

and then if there is still stock, then the general public can purchase them as well

so it’s one of the benefits of being a gold member is you get early access, so if you are not a member already, I’d really recommend signing up for that.
