I recently signed up to Wizarding World Loot Crate, to see what the Christmas box would offer because I was really curious
and they sneakily offered a welcome crate with like mystery items and of course I went for it…
so I assume this is the welcome crate because the people that I follow that normally get Loot Crate boxes
haven’t sort of revealed a Christmas box yet, so I’m pretty certain this is the welcome crate, so let’s see what’s inside
I have already broken the seal just to make it a little bit easier on camera
but I will still give you a sneak peek before we move on, so let’s see hopefully that’s enough there
okay so the first item is a t-shirt and you know me, I love harry potter t-shirts, so this is already a good start
I think I’ve seen someone else get this in another one, apparently it’s a Loot Crate exclusive
I do like it, it is really cool so it’s got like these
beasts on, it’s got thestrals, there’s dragons, there’s billywigs,
I see Doxies and bowtruckles and unicorns
that’s really cool there’s nothing on the back
it’s a really nice color as well, I do love me some navy blue
see I’d be I’d fit in perfectly in Ravenclaw with the aesthetic of that, but I am a Hufflepuff
but I do like this t-shirt so I think I will definitely get a lot of wear out of that because
I love me some Harry Potter t-shirts…
right let’s go on to the next item
okay so the next item on the top
is this iron-on patch um okay I guess you’d probably put this on…a bag?
let’s get it out, one second
and it is soft, it’s almost like like carpet
what would I iron this on?
erg – sticky
where is it from – it is from bioworld
it’s cute – I can see that it is Quidditch themed
so probably like a sports bag, that’d be a good use for that
would I use this? I have to have a little think…
maybe not, but it is cute…
okay and I spy something that may have been a wand
is it wand…no okay it’s not a wand..
I don’t know why, when I saw it look like that in the box, so I don’t know if it could have been a wand
but I should have instantly seen that it was an umbrella
and it is an automatic umbrella, which is always I find fun and dangerous at the same time
because it could always be used like a weapon
yeah see, it’s one of those ones – oh I can’t get it back in now
all right, what’s on? It’s got Harry Potter on and oh it gives a little sneak peek of what it is, so I don’t actually have to open it and incur some kind of curse because
of bad luck opening umbrellas inside and it’s got all the Hogwarts house crests on, which is very cool
but yeah that’s really cool,
I also really like Harry Potter umbrellas
so this is a really good start, two items that I would use quite frequently, especially in England, where it rains all the time here
all right the next item, let’s see, next item is okay so it is a
wooden ‘please forward all gifts to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry’
this one does look like a Christmas one, so I don’t know if this is actually is the Christmas box now
but the other items weren’t very Christmassy
I’ll have to wait and see
it does come with a nice little rope on the back, so this I guess could fit in a room somewhere or on a door
or maybe it should be, by I guess where your post box would be
would I use this?
hmm I don’t know if I will use this
but it is very cute though, I do like the owl, I like the print
if the print was on something else, I probably maybe find more used for it, but a wooden plaque…
I guess it could go in my kitchen
okay and then, oh it looks like okay this is the final item okay so before I show the final item,
let me show you what the box looks like
it is cool it has got all the spell movements and I believe with the Loot Crate boxes I don’t know if anyone even does this, but I guess I could use it because I probably would use a box is you can turn it inside out and then it will be used like that to store stuff
I might find use for these…but I do like this
okay well let’s get on with the last item
which is cute, I think what I’ll do before I show you it
let me actually take it out of the packaging, so we can see
what quality it is before I make my verdict on whether I love it or not because it is this holiday pillow
and obviously this is for me and I do have the Weasley jumper with “R” on
because my name is Rodney so I’m very lucky to have a
Weasley sweater that it’s already made for me, but this is cute, so this is obviously the Harry and the Ron
it is, it says here that it’s a holiday pillow…that is it
I think that it’s not terrible quality but it’s a bit kind of synthetic-y I think if it was maybe, if it was knitted
or maybe just a little bit higher quality, I think I’d probably love it more
because otherwise this would have fit perfectly on my bed, like just on my side with the “R”, that would have been really cool
I’d probably more likely to keep it if it was a little bit higher quality but, I dunno I haven’t quite made my mind up on that yet
but very fun very cute
okay so I think my favourite item is definitely gonna be
the t-shirt, just because
I know that I’m gonna get a lot of wear out of that – I love the design, it is very simple it’s not over the top in your face, Harry Potter, which I like
so definitely the t-shirt, I love that
and I had been previously subscribed to the Wizarding World Loot Wear that they did
but I think I wanted more t-shirts for the cost, that’s why I didn’t continue with that one, that’s why I went for the box to see
and then I think the next item, would be, my next favorite would be the umbrella because I know that I will get a lot of use out of this
I do like myself some Harry Potter umbrellas and it is really cool
and it’s one of those auto-open ones, which you know, it’s a high quality one, so definitely that I would say is a good item
the other items I’m not sure I’ll find much use for them
maybe the cushion, but I’ll have to see if that fits with the decor in my house
I’ll wait and see what the actual christmas wizarding world loot crate offers to decide whether i continue
to be subscribed to Loot Crate so we’ll wait and see what that one contains…
