So which Viktor Krum wand to go for? I’ll compare them both in this article

So while ago Noble Collection brought these mystery wands which were a little bit different to the original character wands

now I didn’t buy any of these mystery wands because I don’t know about you but I don’t really like blind boxes because duplicates are a nightmare

I like to compare whatever is new to the original wand to see how they would compare, but with the boxes being completely sealed, that didn’t make it a possibility

So Noble Collection finally launched these ones in a window display box (or as they label them as a toy wand)

and because I realised I actually had both of them, so I had the toy wand and the original character wand – I thought I’d do a little comparison video so you can see what they look like

So this is the original Noble Collection character wand

you can either purchase this in a display box or as part of the Triwizard Tournament wand set

and you can see in comparison, this new wand is a little shorter (I believe it’s 12 inches), and a little fatter and a little bit lighter

They aren’t exactly the same so if you’re collecting prop replicas, then this probably wouldn’t be ideal

however in terms of purchasing for younger family members, who intend to do some wand waving, foolishly or not, then this would be great

they also come with this amazing lenticular bookmark, which I think the quality is pretty good. If I saw the character in real life I would actually get them to sign this because I think it’s that cool

Now what I also discovered is that these wands make a perfect wand for cosplay because I actually took this with me when I went to the Wizarding World Gold Christmas party when I was dressed up in my Durmstrang Yule Ball outfit

I thought I needed to bring a wand with me and so I thought this would make a perfect wand for me to take with.

Now of course I could have used the original character wand but because it’s a little bit more delicate and there are display only. If I was to drop this on any of the tiles or hard surfaces then there is a possibility that it would chip and because they’re quite expensive, it would be you know cost a lot more to get that replaced.

So if anyone’s gonna be doing any Viktor Krum cosplay or you know just looking for a different alternative wand that’s a little bit more robust to use when you’re at any event or just out and about or just wanting to do some wand movements with them then I’d really recommend checking out these toy wands.

I think they’re pretty great and you know the fact that they come with these really cool lenticular bookmarks, I think that is just a plus for them definitely
